In partnership with Herman Miller and Vitra, the Eames Foundation has unveiled a limited run of the Eames LTR (Low Table Rod Base) with tops made of eucalyptus wood harvested from the Eames House property. Herman Miller and Vitra trusted Rubio Monocoat to protect these tables. Read more

Twelve talented makers from across the USA gathered in Austin, TX for two fast and furious days of building, learning, and collaboration. Rubio Monocoat partnered with Festool and put on a 2 day school with some of the industry's top makers. Over the 2 days, the 14 makers built custom pieces to be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds to be donated to the wife of a woodworker in the community. Read more

Rubio Monocoat made an appearance on a popular builder-oriented TV show on the East coast. Heart of Oak is a television show based on the South Shore of Massachusetts. It follows PJ Antonik and his team from Oak Development & Design as they tear run down houses apart to transform them into beautiful, customized homes. The show gives an unscripted look into what it takes to accomplish such a monumental feat. Spoiler alert, it’s A LOT of work! Read more

Rubio Monocoat recently had the honor of donating product to a non-profit in Statesville, North Carolina called The Upper Room Coffee. The two-story building is nearly 13,000 square feet with mainly hardwood flooring and boasts two stages, a coffee bar, and multiple pool and foosball tables. Besides their almost weekly concerts and open mics, they have also opened the venue to local organizations looking to make a difference. Read more
